Many people have been in contact with satanism and different kinds of the occult so I thought it was about time to cover this topic. With the occult I mean all kinds of sorcery, wicca, spiritism, magic etc where you come in touch with forces beyond what you see. The Bible tells us clearly to stay away from these evil forces. <Deuteronomy 18:10-12> We shall stay away from evil and not take part of the works of darkness but instead reveal them. <Ephesians 5:11>
ORIGINS OF EVIL In the beginning Satan was an archangel under God's service. But one day he revolted against God and got a third of the angels with him. A battle followed which God won and Satan lost. After the battle Satan was casted down from heaven along with the other revolting angels. Since then Satan and his hords of fallen angels (that are now called demons and evil spirits) have done their best to kill and destroy all they can on earth and especially targeting on us humans. SATANISM AND THE OCCULT Satan is jealous of God and always tries to get people away from God. Most of all he wants people to worship him, not God. Satanism and the occult are two ways he uses to get people away from God. People involved in satanism and different kinds of occult often think that what they do is just an innocent game, but in reality they are in contact with real evil forces. So it's not a game! Many also think that they through sorcery, spells, rituals etc can control these forces, but they are all deceived. Cause whether they know it or not, they are in fact the ones that are controlled by the demons. JESUS IS SO MUCH STRONGER! When Jesus died on the cross and rose on the third day, He conquered Satan and all his demons. <Colossians 2:15, Hebrews 2:14> So we christians never have to be afraid for Satan, cause he is defeated and Jesus is the one that has the real power! <1 John 4:4, Matthews 28:18> Through Jesus' victory on the cross we are more than conquerers over all evil, cause God that lives in us is so much stronger. Because of Jesus victory over darkness Satan and his demons are very scared for the power of Jesus and for his name that is above all names. <Philippians 2:9-10> USE THE NAME OF JESUS! Because of Jesus victory on the cross the forces of darkness now fear the name of Jesus. When we christians face evil forces we can go against them in Jesus' name and they will have to go, cause they know that they are defeated and that Jesus is the one that has the real power. <Matthews 28:18, Philippians 2:9-10, Mark 16:17, Book of Acts 16:18> YOU BELONG TO GOD Some of you reading this have been in Satanism and the Occult in the past but are now christians. Since you are a christian now, you belong to God and Satan has no right to rule over you anymore, cause you are a child of God. <Colossians 1:12, John 1:12> No matter the past you are now a new creation that belongs to God.< 2 Corintians 5:17> The past has nothing to do with you anymore! However, Satan may still try to take you back into darkness, but when he does just tell him to leave in Jesus name and he will have to flee from you. <James 4:7> BREAK SATAN'S GRIP! Many people that are involved in Satanism or the Occult don't think that they can be free. But I have some great news for you! You can be free, free indeed. If you want to break free from darkness you can call on the name of Jesus and He WILL set you free. Don't let Satan deceive you with his lies. Satan is just a loser and a deceiver. All he wants is to destroy you and take you with him to Hell. God has something much better for you, He wants to give you the best both now and in eternity. If you put your trust in Him, He will never let you down. So call on the name of Jesus and you will be free. DESTROY ALL EVIL GARBAGE! To be really free from the grip of evil you also need to destroy evil things that you used when you were involved in Satanism/Occult. Cause as long as you have these things left they will always try to draw you back into darkness. THE END OF EVIL Satan is doomed and one day all evil will end, cause one day Satan and his hords of demons will be cast into the lake of fire and sulphur. There they will be tormented forever and ever as punishment for all the evil they have done. <Revelation 20:10>
